Twoonies For Kids Society "benefiting the well being of B.C. children"
Join us and Twoonies For Kids Society in the fight against B.C child poverty | Proceeds from this event will benefit Child Poverty Initiatives within Greater Vancouver including the Cause We Care charitable organization who work on the front lines fighting child poverty in Vancouver.
The basic needs and well-being of less fortunate children in the Lower Mainland are too often overlooked and even forgotten. At the Toonies for Kids Society, the well-being of children is our first priority. We want to give all children an equal opportunity to excel at life and reach their full potential.
The Toonies for Kids Society helps to fund local Children Initiatives that provide care and support to children in our community who, for whatever reason, are unable to experience the joy and excitement of being a kid. Whether it be through donations to a local Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, assistance to the food bank, or support of physical, emotional, and familial wellness programs, we prize and respect local children.

A Very Special Project With Operation Gift Basket
Fourth annual gift basket drive is under way | Start collecting all unused, unopened toiletries, cosmetics, giftware, bath and beauty products and other items suitable for gift baskets.
Operation Gift Basket created just over 160 gift baskets for Christmas 2010 and would like to more than double that for 2011 so that more women on the North Shore and in the Vancouver area will receive a Christmas gift this year.

Lions Gate Hospital Foundation "15th. Annual Golf Classic"
Lions Gate Hospital Foundation's 15th. Annual Golf Classic held this year at the Capilano Golf and Country Club on June 20th. 2011 in West Vancouver with 144 players in attendance. The event raised $386,500(net) towards the foundations $25 million campagne to build the new Greta and Robert H.N. Ho Psychiatric and Education Centre (The HOPE Centre)
